Meet Our Team

Kim joined the Mellion Orthodontics team in 2015! She loves her job at Mellion because it affords her the opportunity to see amazing transformations in our patients. She also believes the staff and doctors truly are the best. She says, “When you come to Mellion, whether it’s your first visit, or your fiftieth visit, I can guarantee you will feel welcomed, important and part of the family. We have top notch doctors and an amazing clinical team that works hard every day to make beautiful smiles happen.”

Kim lives in Bath with her two children and two dogs. Outside of work, you can find Kim at one sporting event or another with one of her kids.

Fun fact: Kim taught aerobics at OSU to a few hundred people all at once!

Nicole joined Mellion Orthodontics in February 2021. Although Mellion is her first experience in the orthodontic field, she has enjoyed making people smile for years working in customer service. Her favorite part about working at Mellion is how caring and attentive the doctors are with all of their patients. Outside of the office Nicole enjoys kayaking, hiking and traveling with her family.

Fun Fact: Nicole loves all genres of music. So much so she can turn on any radio station and know the lyrics to almost any song!

Lori started with Mellion Orthodontics in 2008 and no matter how busy the day gets, we always have fun because our patients are great! Her favorite part of my job is to see the kids grow and develop more self-confidence as their treatment progresses. She is glad to be making positive changes in the appearances of others and really enjoys seeing the process from start to finish. Lori has lived on both coasts of the United States: West Palm Beach, FL, and Pasadena, CA. Now happily living in Medina, with husband, Jamie, they have two daughters – one in Chicago and one in Medina with her own three children.

Fun fact: Lori’s dream vacation is to visit Ireland.

There are so many things Jamie loves about working at Mellion Orthodontics. She says, “We truly care about our patients and the teamwork here is unbelievable! I have been a part of the Mellion Orthodontics team since 2009 and I’m so proud of our practice. The doctors’ knowledge is outstanding and they strive to make all aspects of the treatment enjoyable! I have a wonderful husband, six kids and two dogs, Millie and Mable.” Jamie became a Grandma in 2021 and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Fun fact: Jamie loves spur of the moment trips – even just a quick one day getaway makes her excited!

Michelle began her career in the dental field with Mellion Orthodontics in 2020. She has always loved going to the dentist so it was no surprise that she pursued a career in orthodontics! Outside of work she enjoys playing and watching sports (go Hoosiers!). She also enjoys exploring new breweries and finding the best tacos in town!

Fun fact: Her left upper canine and 1st molar are switched!

Prior to joining the Mellion Orthodontics team in 2021, Muriel had been in the dental industry since 2013. Muriel holds DANB certifications in both orthodontics and general dentistry, but enjoys the excitement of orthodontics! Muriel believes there is nothing more satisfying than watching our patients’ confidence and personalities transform as they navigate through treatment. Her every day objective is to help each reach their orthodontic goals, while personalizing treatment plans to meet their needs.

When not in the office, Muriel can be found enjoying the outdoors with her fiancé, Justin, and their dog Millie Mae. She also enjoys vacationing on the beaches of the Carolinas with her family.

Fun Fact: Her sister claims Muriel is a real life mermaid!

New to the orthodontic Field in 2022, Alli is excited to learn and grow with a practice grounded in family values. She has spent over a decade in customer service roles, but loves the personal connection that takes place between patients and staff at Mellion. Nothing is better than seeing someone gain self-confidence and getting to be a part of that journey with them is so fulfilling.

Alli works in the Medina office, and recently moved to the area with her bunny, Ed. She loves biking the Towpath and escaping to the beach any chance she gets.

Fun-Fact: Go-to karaoke song – Pat Benatar, Hit Me With Your Best Shot.

Beth joined the Mellion team in January 2023. She has been a registered dental hygienist for 37 years and is proud to be an OSU alumna. Beth has a health education degree and enjoys educating her patients about the orthodontic process. She is thrilled to be a part of the Mellion team because she believes the family culture and the expertise of the doctors creates a positive experience for the patients and gives them a beautiful smile! Outside of the office, one can find Beth on the golf course or running. If it is raining she will be shopping!

Fun fact: Beth has two grown sons and one is a golf professional who gives her private lessons for free!

Diane joined the Mellion Orthodontics team early in 2020 with a background in communication and marketing. While Mellion is her first exposure to the world of dentistry and orthodontics she has enjoyed learning in the fast paced office! Her favorite thing about working at Mellion Orthodontics is the expertise of the doctors and the team and their focus on educating patients and families at every step of treatment in the office.

Fun fact: Diane enjoys volunteering by taking shelter dogs out for runs!

Wendy’s career in orthodontics started in 1999 and joined the Mellion team in 2016 in Fairlawn. Since then she has been a tremendous help in both Fairlawn and Medina. She lives in Wooster with her husband and spends most of her summer in Port Clinton on the lake with family and friends. She enjoys kayaking, reading, watching baseball, taking spin classes and most importantly, being a Winnie to her grandkids – Cooper, Madison and another on the way!

Fun fact: Wendy’s favorite movie is The Sandlot.

Katie started at Mellion Orthodontics in 2021. Her favorite thing about working here is watching patients gain confidence with their changing smiles. She loves playing video games with her husband, Cory, and spending time with her family and their dog, Bailey.

Fun fact: Katie is a twin and can play five instruments!

Callie loves working here at Mellion! What she loves most is how the doctors treat both their employees and their patients like family. She says “They go above and beyond to get to know each person, and give them the best treatment possible. Interacting with patients, and seeing them progress through treatment is very rewarding.” She enjoys being part of a team who not only creates beautiful smiles, but also gives everyone something to smile about.

Callie lives in Wadsworth with her husband Trent, son Mason, and dog Meeka. Outside of work, she enjoys eating at local restaurants, hanging out with friends and family and exercising.

Fun fact: Callie does reformer Pilates in her free time!

Ellie has been with Mellion Orthodontics since September of 2016, but she started working in orthodontics in 2014. She loves getting to know the patients, watching them grow and seeing their smiles transform. She also loves our whole team and our doctors — she says, “Everyone is amazing and it’s great to be in a place where we can laugh as hard as we work.” Outside of work, her favorite thing to do is spend time with her husband, Tyler, and their dog, Arya.

Fun fact: Ellie plays video games and her favorite is the Sims and likes building the houses!

Lois shares, “I have the wonderful opportunity to meet almost all of the new patients that come into our office while working as the Records Tech. I strive to make the records experience a pleasant one, and love getting to know our patients. I believe a person’s smile can light up a room, and I’m proud to be on a team of smile-makers!”

Lois has called Medina County home her entire life and resides in Lafayette Township with her two sons. She enjoy golfing and coaching her niece’s softball team.

Fun fact: Lois loves to bake – especially pies!

Mary joined the Mellion Orthodontics team in 2016 but has been in the dental field since 2000. She fabricates all the fun and colorful retainers our patients receive at the end of treatment and enjoys what she does. She enjoys the great team and giving the patients the care they need. She can be found camping with her family on weekends, taking walks and hanging out with her puppy, Coco, in her free time!

Fun fact: Mary’s favorite television show is American Bandstand.

Sarah joined Mellion Orthodontics in February 2021 after four years as an assistant in general dentistry. She enjoys the fun, friendly atmosphere at Mellion, along with watching patients grow and become more confident with their smile! Sarah recently moved to Stow from Cortland, Ohio, about an hour away.

Fun fact: Sarah loves Marvel movies and Captain America is her favorite!

Stephanie is a registered dental hygienist who recently made the switch to orthodontics! While she loves helping patients keep a clean, healthy mouth, she enjoys being part of the development of a smile even more. “Clean teeth are an important part to a healthy body, but if you aren’t smiling, we need to fix that!” Stephanie is also interested in airway health and understands the vital role that orthodontics plays in the development of a strong airway for great sleep and function.

Stephanie lives in Hudson with her husband, two sons, two doodles and a crazy kitten! Outside of the office she loves to seek adventure hiking, climbing, paddle boarding and kayaking.

Fun fact: Her husband is in the U.S. Coast Guard and she has lived in nine states in 17 years!

Bekka joined the Mellion team in August of 2022 and has been loving her time here. Her favorite thing about working in orthodontics is helping the patients love their smile and watching how much they change and grow throughout the process. She became an assistant because of the experience she had with her braces as a child. In her free time, she and her boyfriend love to hang out with her two little nieces who keep them on their toes and watch a lot of Disney movies. She is also the youngest of five kids and has a twin brother.

Fun fact: Bekka has been a dancer since she was five years old, loves performing in musicals and has choreographed many musical performances and solo dances.

Paula is a dental hygienist and graduate of the University of Michigan, GO BLUE!

She’s happy to have joined Mellion Orthodontics in September of 2022 after many years in the dental field. She loves the commitment, dedication and work ethic that everyone shares and is proud to be a part of this team. She says she has always had a passion for orthodontics and Mellion has already exceeded her expectations in so many ways!

Paula is married with two daughters. They have a dog named Lola. She is a Frenchie/beagle mix and the love of their life! In her spare time Paula enjoys going to sporting events and theater productions, specifically her kids’. She also enjoys staying active, hanging out with good friends and eating good food. Oh yeah, and she loves to shop!!

Fun fact: Paula used to be a flight attendant for American Airlines, where she met her husband, Dave, of over 27 years.

Stephanie joined the Mellion Orthodontics team in January 2023. Prior to joining, Stephanie had worked as an assistant since 2020 in both orthodontics and pediatric dentistry. She loves making patients feel comfortable and getting to know the patients personally. Stephanie lives in Massillon with her husband Malik and son Cruz.

Outside of work she enjoys watching sports – racing and football – as well as spending time with her family and visiting new places.

Fun fact: Stephanie dreams of being a contestant on the TV show Survivor!

Kaitlyn joined Mellion Orthodontics in the summer of 2023, starting her third year in the orthodontic world. Coming from a scheduling coordinator position in orthodontics, she wanted to make the switch to the clinic and be hands on in patient care – and is absolutely loving it! She loves to help patients understand and feel good about treatment, and seeing their reactions to before and after photos! Her favorite part of the Mellion team is how genuinely kind, caring, helpful and hard working each team member is, as well as the doctors! Everybody is always willing to help. It’s a positive environment and she says, “I feel I’ve found my home in the orthodontic world!”

When not in the office, Kaitlyn spends time with her two young daughters and dog, Luna. She enjoys shopping, plants and binging Marvel movies with her family!

Fun fact: Kaitlyn collects vinyl records and has about 150 so far!

Rebecca came into Mellion Orthodontics to get treatment for her family and loved the team so much she decided to join us in the summer of 2023! With a long history in the dental world, she felt right at home with assisting. She loves helping people through the process of gaining confidence with a beautiful new smile! When not working, she loves spending time with family, traveling and being in nature. She also dabbles in painting when she has free time.

Fun fact – Rebecca is obsessed with honey.
